we offer all we know
Born in different cities in the Black Sea region, we met in Cappadocia, choosing this location to study Tour Guiding in 2002. We each hold a 4-year-degree on guiding. It covered many lessons such as archaeology, mythology, art history, religion history and gastronomy. Until we received our licenses, we worked in several places such as restaurants, hotels, stores but all in the tourism field.
After graduating from college, we started guiding all around Turkey. We each hold a nation-wide license and have extensive experience in each location.
Having experienced the services of many hotels and restaurants, we know well how to match these with our guests' requests. We really like discovering new restaurants and having the best food experiences.
We get the benefits of being married guides: we share our knowledge and experiences from our tours with each other and keep up-to-date information about every location in Turkey.
Esin is personally interested in cuisine, botany and Greek/Roman history and she enjoys Western Turkey tours whereas Nihat is more interested in photography, local culture and off-the-beaten-path spots in old towns and he enjoys Eastern Turkey tours.
Let us make your trip memorable !

we are
passionate, energetic, experiencedInstead of standard itineraries, we always enjoy doing tours for specific interests such as Archaeological, Biblical, Mosaics, Gourmet and Photo Tours. Aside from these, we are able to do any classical tours, be it a one-day excursion or a three-week extended tour throughout Turkey.
Turkey is a vast country and we are sure that you will find more than you expect. You might have a glass of tea admiring the beautiful landscape in the Black Sea region, find yourself in oriental bazaars of Southeastern cities, or marvel at the remains of ancient cities from the Greco-Roman era of the Aegean region. We like to create moments that you experience yourself, such as cooking with locals, cutting tea leaves or picking pistachios, making our tours more interactive.
Below you can check out some of our highlights!
- Cappadocia
- Eastern Anatolia
- Western Anatolia
It is one of the biggest monasteries including a dozen of rock-cut churches with stunning frescoes. Dark Church and Tokali Church are the best ones concerning architecture and painting art. It is really a must-see place to learn about Christian heritage.
Dating back to Hittites period, Kaymakli Underground City is a 4-storey shelter where once early Christians hid themselves during Roman persecution. It is big fun for not only kids but also for adults exploring tunnels connecting living rooms, kitchens, storages and stables.
Hiking through vineyards and orchards is a great way to relax. The valley has different tracks for beginners, professionals or families with kids. After touring all day, it is a beautiful place to watch sunset and have a drink. Cappadocian wine is recommended!
One of our favorite towns to walk in the backstreets and seeing locals, taking pictures of colorful doors. Formerly called Sinasos, Mustafapasa was inhabited by mostly Anatolian Greeks in the past. It was a town where wealthy families used to live.
Guzelyurt is not listed in regular tours but it hosts one of the most important churches for Christian history. It was formerly called Gelveri and a big church was built in dedication to St.Gregory of Nazianzus who was one of the Cappadocian fathers.
Located by the Red River, Avanos has a 4000-year tradition in pottery. In each part of town you witness pottery has been major way to make a living and a center of handicrafts for years. Seeing the process is very informative and trying to make your own pot is real fun.
10000-year-old Neolithic site amazes with its history and one-to-one replicas of mud-brick houses. Being interested in archaeology or not, visiting the replica houses and getting information about their life is exciting. It is also the first place a female underwent trepanation.
It is almost impossible seeing tourists in this village ! Babayan or today's Ibrahimpasa is one of our off-the-track stops on tours. We like to sit in tea/coffee houses and interact with locals, play backgammon or wander in the back streets and see old houses.
Devrent Valley has a lunar-like landscape with animal-shaped rocks. You always see new things depending on the light and shadows on rocks. A short and easy hike in valley gives an opportunity to test your imagination. Kids love to explore and see different animals!
Pasabaglari (Pasha's vineyards) is famous for its three-capped pinnacles or so called fairy chimneys. These are gigantic fairy chimneys of Cappadocia. It is also known as Monks Valley. There used to be churches and monk cells carved out at high point of column-like rocks.
Where else can you see Protestant, Catholic, Orthodox churches and a Synagogue with a plenty of historical mosques within walking distances? World famous mosaics, delicious cuisine or beautiful streets can't be enough to describe this city.
Baklava? Probably you heard of it. But there are more desserts competing with 'baklava'. Antep cuisine is great. You understand the true meaning of 'kebab' here. There are also hans, hammams, bazaars and a great mosaic museum to explore.
Imagine watching sunrise or sunset at the top of a mountain where you sit in front of huge statues of Gods at an altitude of 7000ft. It is an unforgettable experience. Thanks to Kommagene King who had this sanctuary built for himself around 50BC.
It has changed world history with the oldest man-made monument/temple, Gobeklitepe is almost 13000 years old ! Urfa is the place where Adam and Eve once lived, Abraham was born in a cave, and many others lived or passed by such as Job, Jethro, Elijah, Noah, Moses, Isaac, Jacob and so on.
Surrounded with high city walls (second biggest after the Wall of China), Diyarbakir has a dominant culture with its people, streets, historical buildings including Syriac, Chaldean and Armenian churches and mosques, beautifully decorated mansions. It definitely has its own spirit.
Besides its operating Syriac monasteries, Mardin is full of beautifully adorned stone houses, street vendors, bazaars, kite runners and even mules used to transport or collect garbage. After spending hours in labyrinth-like streets of old town, you forget where you have started from.
Almost each hilltop has a fortress or castle from Urartians which left so many artifacts and inscriptions behind. Apart from many historical places, a church located on an island in Lake Van reveals the most sophisticated architecture by the Armenians.
Land of animal husbandry and famous for its Caucasus horses, geese, cheese and honey. Ancient city of Ani is such an impressive capital for many civilizations that had hundreds of churches once upon a time. Kars is small but surprisingly a cosmopolitan city today.
In addition to its historical and cultural background, Trabzon and Rize welcome visitors with the greenest plateaus, native forests and flowers. You may want to stop for taking pictures after each mountain curve. You get a completely different sense of humor in this region; e.g. answering with a question?
Above the Ottoman houses, a steep stairway takes you to the tombs of Pontic Kings overlooking the old city divided into two parts by a river called as Iris in old times. Amasya was also a city where Ottoman princes were sent to be trained and gain experience on governing.
There is always an opportunity to swim in turquoise color sea right after you do a sightseeing tour in ancient cities such as Perge, Aspendos, Side, Phaselis or Olympos. Harbor area has many restaurants, bars/pubs. Antalya has one of the best archaeological museums for history lovers.
A small fishing town, Kas is great location to do sightseeing tours or activities such as diving and kayaking. After seeing world famous Kaputas and Patara beaches, you get to Oludeniz in Fethiye where you can do paragliding or start hiking on Lycian Way.
Necropolis, colonnaded streets, gates, baths, temples, theater, martyrium of St. Philip are some of the many sites in Hierapolis. It is also called Pamukkale (cotton castle) since there are white terraces of travertines formed by hot springs containing calcium carbonate and carbon dioxide.
The city of Aphrodite! It hosts the best samples of sculptures on-site museum. The school of sculptors in Aphrodisias was the most famous in ancient Anatolia. Walking among impressive buildings from Roman era takes you to the old times.
Ephesus was founded around 10th century BC and reached to its height during the Roman era. Its marble streets, temples, agoras, hammams, great library and theatre are mesmerizing. An all day tour with a visit to Temple of Artemis, House of Virgin Mary and St. John Basilica is just a lifetime experience.
Located at a high point, Pergamon Acropolis has great panoramic views. The temple of Trajan is partly re-erected and ruins allow you to visualize the others. It is literally a wow moment seeing the steepest seating of the theatre overlooking the ancient treatment center Asclepion.
Ayvalik is a small seaside town on the Aegean coast. It was formerly inhabited with Greeks and famous for its olive oil production. It is memorable to see colorful streets, churches, mosques and beautiful Greek-Ottoman houses. Seafood is great here!
Apart from being one of the capitals of Ottoman State, Bursa is the only capital of Iskender Kebap. It is also a center for silk production. Bursa has some fine samples of Ottoman architecture including Grand and Yesil Mosques, bazaars, caravanserais and bridges.
Cobble-stoned streets, wooden houses and a huge caravanserai in the center still create an Ottoman village life in Safranbolu whereas Amasra is a fishing town with remains from Romans and Byzantines. Both places are little gems in western part of Blacksea region.
Home of Diogenes the Cynic, Sinop has a history background from Romans, Byzantines, Seljuks and Ottomans. You can see many buildings from each era. It is a typical coastal city in Blacksea region. Fortress Prison is the most famous and known as the Alcatraz of Turkey!
